What is Finance Onyx?
A simulated educational tool for learning Indian equity price action. You learn candlestick patterns on real historical data, then practise with paper trades using virtual capital.
Is real money involved?
No. All capital is virtual and nothing you do here places a real order.
Are you SEBI-registered?
No. We are not a SEBI-registered broker, investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing on the platform is financial or investment advice. See the Terms.
How much virtual capital do I start with?
₹10,000, credited to your simulated wallet.
Do I have to pass the quiz before I can trade?
No. Trade and Leagues are open as soon as you sign in. The assessment in the Game is practice: a short quiz on the patterns you have seen, graded on the server, and scoring 80% or more marks mastery and pays game points. Skipping it costs you nothing but the points.
Where does the market data come from?
Game and chart history are real NSE end-of-day bars. Prices and index levels elsewhere may be delayed or indicative; where the live feed is unavailable the page says so rather than showing a number as live.
Do I need an account?
You need one to trade, keep a profile and appear on leaderboards. Sign-in is by email and password or Google.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
By return, not by balance size, so a larger wallet gives no advantage. Game Points and Trade Returns are ranked on separate boards.
How do I contact you or raise a grievance?
Use the Contact page. Privacy requests and grievances go to the same mailbox, as described in the Privacy Policy.
